Privacy Policy
BovaNova (“we”, “us”) provides a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet and related network tools. This policy explains what data is (and is not) collected when you use our services.
1. Summary
- We do not create online accounts for the wallet.
- Private keys are generated and encrypted on your device. We cannot access them.
- We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising SDKs in the mobile wallet.
- Network requests you initiate (balance, send, airdrop) go to the RPC endpoint you configure and may reveal technical data to that operator.
2. Data we do not collect
We do not collect your password, seed/secret key, keystore contents, or full transaction history as a hosted service. Encrypted wallet material stays in on-device storage (for example, the app’s local storage / WebView storage).
3. Data processed on your device
- Encrypted key material — stored only on your device after you set a password.
- Preferences — such as your chosen RPC URL.
- Camera — used only when you tap Scan QR to read an address. Frames are processed on-device for decoding and are not uploaded by us.
4. Data processed when you use the network
When the app talks to an RPC or peer (including public testnet endpoints or a URL you enter), that operator may receive:
- Your IP address and standard HTTP/TLS metadata
- Public addresses and transaction payloads you submit
- Timestamps and similar technical logs
If you point the wallet at a third-party RPC, that party’s privacy practices apply. Default public endpoints are operated for BovaNova test/dev networks and may retain operational logs for reliability and abuse prevention.
5. Website & analytics
The marketing site (bovanova.xyz) may be served via hosting providers (for example Vercel) that process request logs (IP, user agent, path) as part of delivering the site. We do not intentionally embed third-party advertising trackers in the wallet app.
6. Children
The services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum digital consent age in your country). Do not use the wallet if you are under 18 (see Terms).
7. Retention & deletion
Because we do not host wallet accounts, there is no cloud account to delete with us. To remove local wallet data:
- In the app: Settings → Delete wallet from this device, or
- Uninstall the app / clear the app’s storage, or
- Replace the wallet only after exporting a backup if you still need the keys.
On-chain data you broadcast is public and cannot be deleted by us.
8. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited technical information with infrastructure providers solely to operate the site/network, or if required by law.
9. Security
You are responsible for your device security, password strength, and backups. Compromising your device or losing your password/backup can result in permanent loss of access to funds.
10. International users
If you access the services from outside the operator’s primary region, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where infrastructure providers operate.
